I am 49 years young & a married to the man of my dreams. Together we are living a dream of being full time in our RV and saying YES to life and “No thank you” to society norms. He is a professional photographer and I offer virtual services in the Astrology/Holistic/Metaphysical field through my FB & IG pages, Mystikal Rootz. We enjoy helping the communities we are in with the income we earn from our blogs and trades.

I was born an empath and tried to escape my given abilities for many years. When I turned 40, my life changed drastically and I found myself in the position to truly get to know myself. My strengths, my weaknesses, my power, and my gifts. As an Astrologer I went to my natal chart for answers in next steps. I put self care at the forefront and in the last 7 yrs have come into my own. In that time I have earned 4 certifications in Mindfulness from MindfulSchools.org, a Law of Attraction Life Coach Certification from the Global Sciences Network, and am also a certified Yoga Instructor in varied styles through the Yoga & Ayurveda Center with additional certifications in Restorative & Chair Yoga, and am currently working on my Ayurvedic Specialist Certification.

Although all those pieces of paper make me proud of my accomplishments the last 7 yrs, they don’t hold a candle to my life experience. See, I have been in the depths of despair. I have said to myself, “Is this all there is?” I have looked for ways to better myself & only found brick walls stopping me. I HAVE STREET SMART EXPERIENCE! At my heart, that is where I tend to land when helping others. I don’t use “proper” terms most of the time and am very straight up and real when I decide to call bullshit on a person or situation. I am Spiritual AF and enjoy giving real talk advice because deep down, people don’t want you to bullshit them!

My intention with my blog posts is to spread positivity, knowledge, acceptance, observations, and so much love and support for anyone who my words resonate with. My services offer intuitive guidance with my gifts and knowledge in the divination and astrological fields of study. I can’t fix everything wrong in someones life (that’s their job, as it was mine) but I can lend a few words of advice and maybe a laugh or two while sharing bits of myself, my experiences, my talents, and most definitely my heart.
