August Intuitive Astrology Forecast
The energy of August is somewhat subdued compared to that of the previous few months. We have some notable planetary aspects that I will break down as well as 2 Full Moons and Mercury going on its retrograde dance once again. All in all tho, this month feels more balanced. Let’s get into it!
The month begins with our first Super Full Moon in Aquarius on the 1st along with a relaxed aspect between Mars and Jupiter. The energy you have been needing to complete things you keep staring at will be found here. This will be assisted by a Mercury/Saturn opposition that assists in organizing & detail driven. Caution to not be too stuck in Virgo perfection here, progress is progress! A Pluto/North Node Square on the 3rd could have you needing to deal with repercussions of omissions of details told to someone since March. An alignment on the 7th brings the realization that you CAN and WILL execute a plan you are excited about and make amazing progress on implementing it!
Mid month has us feeling excited about creativity towards our dreams. This is a Venus Retrograde vibe so settle into the creativity aspect as these seeds may not bare fruit until September when Venus goes direct. We have a Leo New Moon on the 16th with aspects causing those extroverts to be, well more extra in self expression. This is great for expressing your hearts desires or give way to silent moments to discover what those desires may be.
The end of the month we may feel run down with a lack of energy as Mars opposes Neptune on the 23rd coinciding with Mercury stationing to retrograde. If you doubt the plans you were excited about at the start of the month, take this time to reflect on where doubts are coming from. On the 29th we will see Uranus also going retrograde which leaves only 2 planets (Mars and Jupiter) that are moving forward. Stepping out of old ways of thinking is advised as there are many that are still attached to ways that are played out. Ending the month with a Full Moon in Pisces on the 31st will bring the need to support others as they have supported you and vise versa.
This month leaves room for ideas, excitement, reflection and movement into new ways of life and mindset. Take advantage of these while they last! Have a beautiful August!

Tomorrow at 11:31 am PST tomorrow, we will welcome in the Super Full Moon In Aquarius. This will be the brightest moon of the year and as all Super Moons, it will appear to be closer to Earth than your typical Moon. The Moon in Aquarius and the Sun opposite in the sign of Leo will bring things into focus that deal with our own authentic being and our inner truths. The Air energy from Aquarius may have us very much in our heads during this time and it will be important to be on top of what we have bouncing around up there as our brains are naturally wired to go into critic mode.
Venus being deep in her Retrograde at this time will bring up many emotions that have been pushed down, as the Super Full Moon gives extra pushes to things like grief, heartache, disappointment, and other intense sensitive feelings. This is a gift and allowing yourself to finally feel things you haven’t may be just what you need to make room for more lighter happy feelings. The energy here is cleaning and releasing and due to the fact this is just one of two full moons this month, a purge is being called for and supported!
Although this sounds like a Full Moon to dread, if you are on a healing journey and are willing to grow, let go, feel, and release in order to move forward in a healthier mindset and existence, you are excited about this moon!! If you have been waiting for a “good time” to begin a path towards healing, THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO GO!!
