Things are picking up as I assumed they would towards the end of 2023. BIG shifts are on their way for the coming year and this moon and especially October feel like they are the kick off. Here is a look at what the collective can expect. Keep in mind, your experience may differ depending on placements in your personal Natal Chart. Let’s check it out shall we?

Full Moon in Aries

Chances are you have been feeling this and the energy will just continue to build. This Full Moon in Aries energy will not be ignored and has the potential to burn in many ways. Aries is ruled by Mars, the planet of anger, fire, movement and action and is the first sign in the Zodiac. Aries can be very toddler like in ways of “I want what I want and give it to me NOW” type tantrums. (This absolutely resonates with me currently!). This is an active and emotional energy intensifying our urge for more independence, space, and freedom. At this time, our focus is on ourselves and our own wants and desires. We want what we want, and if we’re not getting it, at this Full Moon, many of us may conclude that it’s better if we go our separate ways to get it.  During this time, aspects to Mars will bring things forward making it abundantly clear which relationships are equal and bring us joy and what relationships have run their course or even become toxic. 

Mars in Conjunction with the South Lunar Node in Libra will magnify the energy from the Aries Full moon to crave change, excitement and breaking free from the mundane. This amplifies the need to dispose of or cut cords with those who are not in alignment and riding that energy also. Fated endings are strong and will either slip away easily or go out with a bang. With Mars currently resting in Libra where it is at its detriment, chances are in the past weeks we have set aside our own happiness for others in order to keep the peace. This moon could have you reaching a boiling point with built up tensions exploding in anger and resentment. (Remember here, it was YOUR choice to keep things in.  You can contain your emotions. This Full Moon energy warns you, it doesn’t give you a free pass to be an asshole)

The Aries Full Moon marks a decisive turning point, being the last Full Moon before eclipse season begins. Actions taken now lead us into fated new territory.  Choose your actions wisely! 

October Astrological Energy

At the beginning of the month we have Mercury front & center as it makes its way through the final degrees of Virgo, forming aspects to Bothe Neptune and Pluto. This will bring creativeness and we may feel highly stimulated by our imaginations and visions of what we dream to transform in our lives. It may be wise to share these insights with some more practical minded people in your life to help you assess what is doable and what is fantasy. 

On the 9th Venus enters Virgo and shortly after makes an opposition to Saturn.  This will give you a more realistic view on situations and the knowledge of how to get things done. A few days later on the 11th we will meet a Sun/Chiron aspect that could bring conflict that will need to be managed swiftly as this is also the day that Pluto ends its retrograde and prepares to move forward to tear down and transform. 

The New Moon in Libra Solar Eclipse on the 14th will enhance feelings of urgency and rushing that began to build in the days previous.  You CAN do hard things and although courage to push through right now is needed, work put it will be worth it!  Be aware tho, the moon deals in feelings and this eclipse makes an opposition to Chiron, our wounds. We may be easily triggered here and will be given clues to old hurts that may still need work. Communication is ripe here so if your feel safe to, SPEAK YOUR NEEDS! 

The days leading up to the Full Moon in Taurus Lunar Eclipse can feel tense as if your waiting for something but not sure what that “something” is because your not expecting anything specific. This is a positive energy that may bring good news or even an adventure! Be open to whatever! When the Full Moon Eclipse energy is upon us on the 28th we could find emotions flowing with either happy or sad tears and emotions as there is A LOT of planets in earth and water signs which usually causes emotions around tangible things.

We end the month with aspects favorable for a really good reflection time over what the month brought forward. It gives a chance to talk through disagreements possibly had with loved ones and chances for forgiveness and moving forward fresh.

***Yes, this is a challenging month. Throughout my 2023 astrology posts and on some FB Lives I have expressed the need to prepare for the end of this year.  I’ve spoken about 2024 since 2020.  I am not a fan of writing what looks like struggle and challenge as the main focus of my forecasts but I also don’t believe sugar coating this is helpful. ALWAYS know that you have free will and have power over you. This forecast can have you aware and ready! You can manage yourself AND understand that more than likely, those around you are clueless to how the planets are affecting them. Show those others as much grace as possible while taking care of your needs as the main focus.  Rewards come from struggle & challenge. Keep focus on big pictures and end goals to help you see light through any darkness that may fall.
