Why not just keep a journal?

If that is your question than you don’t know me well and I am so excited to change that!

I actually have MANY Journals! I have a gratitude Journal, a Yoga Journal for my personal Asana, a Yoga Journal for my YTT/Ayurvedic Specialist Course, a Journal I use to just journal with card pulls from the 2 special decks I own, a Journal for my reflections after meditation, a journal I began when COVID19 shut our community down & just a plain old good stand by Journal. So… I have Journals! Lol

I have been told that my Social Media post, both personal and business pages read more like blogs. It has been suggested over the last 4 1/2 years that I start one, and now feels like the right time. Now, in May of 2020, when the country and world for that matter is trying to re-open from a little novel coronavirus called COVID19 making the entire planet come to a screeching halt. Our world has come to a stop and we have all been put on Pause. Forced to stop and just BE. This has caused me personally to come into many truths about many things. Both personally and just about human behavior in general. It’s caused me to carefully examine details about myself, others, and situations that I wouldn’t have thought about otherwise.

Recently my posts, when not advertising dōTERRA, have been about TRUTHS. Spiritual truths, personal truths, speaking truth, being real and the true meaning of authenticity. I had felt I was always pretty good at speaking my truth which is why my Social Media posts read like a book. But there is a difference between speaking your truth and beating around the bush because you may offend others. I am pretty straight up but believe me, I hold back a lot. After the entire month of May being focused on the Throat Chakra in the Body Mind Soul online private yoga studio I belong to, I am FINALLY ready to take the jump to blogging.

Now mind you, I have no idea what I am actually doing. The layout is prob weird, the colors may not jive, and who knows where the pictures are going to land! But I’m OK with that. I love learning and hope you will join me in the process, as I make this new step on my life path. Expect some tech issues, weird graphics, venting over a platform I have never used being confusing, and some sparkle and advice along the way. Welcome to my first blog post, not a journal entry, but from my heart just the same!
